Client Experience Assistant

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Lauren Barkume Photography, Alexandria’s favorite professional portrait & wedding studio is growing. We are focused on creating a luxury, supportive, and inclusive experience where everyone feels comfortable, accepted, and celebrated. We are a LGBTQ+ friendly environment. We are seeking to hire a friendly, self-motivated client experience assistant. Part-time hours, typically 4 to 10 hours/week across 1 or 2 days, with potential to grow.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include greeting clients and welcoming them into the studio in Old Town, Alexandria or on location across the DMV, acting as a concierge escorting them to where they need to be, assisting the photographer as needed with lighting, bag carrying, setting up equipment, organizing and cleaning the workspace, and tracking/restocking inventory. This is a physically demanding job, that will require significant walking and carrying in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

To be a great fit, you need to be comfortable working in a luxury, client-focused business. The perfect person for this job will be someone with a warm personality, good time management skills, initiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our valued clients and other team members. No experience required. On the job training provided.

Pay: $35 per hour

Work Location: In person, in studio in Old Town, Alexandria VA and on locations across the DMV.
