Statement of Purpose

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Program Officer, the Program Director, Administration will support the Board and the Leadership Team to drive operational efficiencies. Their duties will center on managing time; focusing on results; building on strengths; concentrating on top priorities; and making effective decisions. The Program Director must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. Must be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Program Director, Administration will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with the highest confidentiality.

Supervision

Receives direction and management from the Executive Vice President and Chief Program Officer and the Assistant Secretary of the Board; works independently and needs limited supervision.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.

 

Training and Specialized Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point, Word), Adobe Acrobat, as well as video conferencing. Tech-savvy to learn onBoard platform, develop and program Board surveys, and Social Media web platforms.
  • Project management – possess excellent organizational, problem solving and follow up skills

Experience

  • Strong work tenure: minimum of 10 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives.

Travel

Up to 20%
